Adam Gold was an amazing narrator, but I do admit to some boredom with the story.

this was fun and easy.
took me a while to warm up to Krew though, but I did in the end.
Max was sexy and Adam Gold's voice for him was just GAHHHH.

I also liked that the Daddy kink wasn't forced here.
Krew wasn't into it and Max was fine with it and adapted to Krew's needs.

I also loved the cameos, especially Ireland and Raven. Krew's not-so-subtle crush on Ireland was hilarious.

NOT sassy. The MC is not even cranky or mean- this MC behaves like an angsty 14yo boy. I get it's a daddy(ish) book, but I couldn't take another word. 16% of the book was this kids mouth running like he was the shit and thinking he's all cute when he's nothing but a breakfast club wanna be. Do not care what his history is nor if he ends up with whoever is misfortunate enough to get him.

4.5 happy sighs…
I love Krew’s sass, and it was good to see his depth & nuance and the background to his resistance for relationships. Max is steadfast & constant in his feelings for Krew. And great to catch-up with the couples from previous books in the series.

4⭐️ I’m so glad Krew got his own HEA. He’s such a great character. I love his sass and vibrancy. Max was super swoon-worthy.
Cute low-angst story. Nice break from the heavier books in this series.

I’m reviewing the audio edition. Even though this story ends on a positive note I was heartbroken most of the way through. Krew is such a brazen personality on the outside while being totally unconfident inside. He is snarky and his attitude is fun. His childhood is totally heartbreaking. And even though Max has declared he is not going to get into another relationship his attraction to Krew seems almost instant. Krew falls into a relationship with Max before he realizes it and it is from there these two really entertained me. I love the Thanksgiving dinner. I enjoyed Krew’s constant whining to Rory. I enjoyed his examining his feelings and actions. I love the bunny pj’s. This story is fun and sad and was made so real by the narration of Adam Gold who did a fantastic job of timbre and pitch to create totally unique characterizations.
