Don’t know why I waited so long to read this. A nice, easy, funny classic.

Didn't enjoy it, wasn't the right book for me but I can see some people who can relate to it having a good laugh reading this.

I have nothing in common with this woman. I am not in my 30s, I'm not single, I'm not straight or a woman, I don't work in publishing, I don't count my calories, I don't have a nightmare of a mother...BUT, it says a lot that I enjoyed this book regardless. It's funny and a quick read and I appreciated the mention of both Blind Date and Noel's House Party!

That was disappointing. I just want to say that I've seen the film and I thought it was good, not great, but I enjoyed it. This though? Bridget Jones is so whiny, so up herself that I couldn't stand her. Let's not forget how utterly desperate she is, bordering on stalkerish. 12 1471 calls in one day just to see if the man you're crushing on has rang you? And the constant 'Why me? Why do I have to be unloved?' dialogue was annoying. Maybe it's because you're constantly fixating on your weight, or slagging everyone off. Best thing about this book was the ending.
