I have said it once, I will say it again: Jeffrey Marsh is a true American hero. A sage. A gem. A goddamn national treasure. This world is a better place because of their ideas, their words, and their willingness to share these ideas and words despite the plethora of hateful bigots who try and shut them up. Thank you for being a voice for the voiceless, Jeffrey! Keep making the world a better place to live in for Queer folx.

~picked for SPL summer reading bingo~

This book is very pertinent to my life. I’ve experienced similar internal struggles presumably coming from a similar religious background and being queer. There were quite a few lines and pages I had to remember because they are so impactful.
Jeffrey did a great job with this book.
The chapters felt a little long at times, but not bad. I also enjoyed the interaction of the book with prompts to think, reflect, and write on.
