A haunting story that I had to keep checking was actually fiction. The characters are deeply flawed and fill you with dread and desolation, but you , as the reader, witness the way they are sculpted and created by their circumstance and so, whilst you never really like them, you understand them. Influenced by their ancestors, the land, the people they meet and the way they are treated. It leaves you questioning, who are the terrorists?
