um i just realized i forgot to actually write a review of this book, and honestly I'll probably read the whole thing another 7 times before I have all my thoughts gathered, but wow this book was.... amazing (as I honestly expected) and I love Andrea Gibson a great deal (if any of yall have me on insta, I am not sorry for how much I repost their work)

I always say I don’t like poetry, but then when I read it, I really enjoy it. The poems in this collection are so good I was sad to finish the book. I read a library copy, but I’m seriously considering buying a copy to add to my own collection.

It's been awhile since I actually could feel some poems. This is that book.

(I was writing the most beautiful and sincere review and accidentally deleted it).
Finally got around to rereading this collection as a whole (there are just so many feelings here and there and everywhere). Andrea reminds me so much to appreciate everything I have , to be grateful and to take time to read this book by the ocean waves. (There was more but now I forgot what).

Read the Amazon sample & cried from the first poem. I knew I had to get this book. Absolute masterpiece & I think I found one of my new favorite poets. The amount of emotion packed into just over 100 pages is inspiring. Now I just need to buy it again since the first one was supposed to be a gift but I can’t miss out on having this on my shelf to read again.
