I cannot believe almost every character died and I felt absolutely nothing for any of them. There's just so much wrong with this book, the writing, the characters, the plot, the way mental health is handled... Just an absolutely terrible handling of every single thing.

Also Hikari was literally so boring? I could not understand why the narrator was in love with her. There's all these relationships that are just based on nothing. I cannot begin to describe how much I hated this book.

Nurse Ella and Eric were the only characters I liked. Fuck this book otherwise.

It was a great book and very nicely written but included a lot of “important messages” and got very dark at times.
