The Red Tent

I'm not much of a biblical scholar but I still really enjoyed this book. I also read it ten years ago so the details are a little fuzzy. but i remember thinking that I kind of wished we still had red tents, I could use a week off from life now & then! In seriousness, loved how this book explored women's relationships. It's been a long time, maybe I should give it another go

This is a really beautiful book. I felt like I was reading about part of my history.

i need to call my mum

I started this book but I didn't get very far into it. I'm not sure if I gave it enough of a chance but I didn't like the style compared to Orson Scott Card's books who writes about the same things. I put it down when the author wrote about Jacob masturbating in the fields thinking about Rachel. Not how I like to picture my biblical heroes.

so depressing!
