While not entirely applicable to my degree (MS in city planning, so fairly terminal), it is a fantastic reference for every grad student. The author acknowledges the lean towards advice for social science PhD students, as opposed to other programs, but there are still many lessons to take no matter your path. I think the most useful chapter for me (an undergrad already decided on a terminal masters program and working on undergraduate research projects) was Chapter 7: writing about research. I clipped quite a few of the outlines, beautifully summarized. Chapter 8 on publishing research was also insightful. Will definitely be returning to this should I decide to go back to grad school later on.
