Found it a very charming and lighthearted read that deals with the fun sides of life while also the growing awareness of aging, having parents who are aging and how to cope with that. Was incredibly fun with lots of hijinks, I liked a lot of the characters and found the prose funny and incredibly digestable. My only critique is that the voice Dolly Alderton uses is a very upbeat, peppy voice and she loves to describe things longer than necessary, but over all that is down to a personal preference of mine and did not impact my overall enjoyment of the plot, the characters and the journey Nina goes on throughout her year.
