This series really does have my heart. I started it on a whim awhile back. I happened to see The Seven Sisters pop up on my feed and was immediately intrigued. Not only do I absolutely love astrology and everything to do with the stars, but this story is so amazing to me.

Basically, a man (Pa Salt) adopted six baby girls from all over the world. He named them each after one of the Seven Sisters of the Pleiades constellation and raised them as his own in his home he named Atlantis. The first one begins with the death of Pa Salt and subsequent adventures of his eldest daughter in discovering her birth family. Each daughter gets a book on her story from there.

The Sun Sister is the 6th book of the series, and it follows Electra, the baby sister and her life as a famous model in New York. She struggles with addiction and the storyline there is fantastic. She meets her biological grandmother and through her, learns the story of her past.

These books are all set as a dual timeline between the sister in question and an important ancestor of theirs. It gives genuine reactions of the story from the sister while we get to ride along with the ancestor for the story.

Since Pa Salt never found the seventh sister, I always wondered what would happen there. I’m so happy to know that The Missing Sister will be released soon and I’ll get to find out!
