Ok a whole lot better than I was expecting! Especially this late in the series. There’s 2 books left and this one has set them up well. There were actually so many unexpected parts in the book. Most of the pll series has been very repetitive, but this book had lots of twists.

Going to the police (finally I mean omg the girls can be stupid), having them believe you and set up security etc, but all of a sudden you’re being arrested for the murder… woo suspense. Then the reveal of helper A being Tripp/Derrick/Phinneas/Olaf/Jackson was done very cheese-ily and was pretty naff, but serves the story and in a way makes sense. The whole book actually made enough sense. And then one of my favourite parts, although this will sound morbid, was the rumours about the suicide pact the girls had and then Emily’s story in this book leading on from that. It was intense and pretty well written.

Finally! Since book 8 we haven't had any answers or useful clues, so I am sooooo happy that we got several answers packed into this one. Everything is absolutely far-fetched, but it makes for a really fun ride.

Wow! Just wow! This book had me crying on some scenes, most of the time specially the second half got me on the edge of my seat. My anxiety was at its higher point. I LOVED IT!
