One of the best PLL books in a while!! I loved that there were actual, serious consequences for everything the girls have done the past few books. I also really loved the Nick reveal; one of the things I've always wondered is if how frequently each of the liars gets close to a random stranger would be revealed as an "A" setup, and this paid off well after several books of me wondering why this kept happening. Mike and Melissa also really stepped up in this one, which I loved seeing. Plus Ms. Marin came back, and was very welcome after several books of just having Hanna's father around.
Overall, easily the best book of the last arc so far. I'm very curious about what the last two books will be like, since Ali is now so weak and seemingly out of allies.

Estaba entre meh y frustrante porque todo les salía mal a mis pretty little stupids, PERO ESE PLOT TWIST. La cuarta estrella es netamente por eso.
Creo que de acá ya me leo loa dos últimos de corrido.

So, reviews on Goodreads for this one are all over the place. My review is biased based on the fact that I watched the show before I ever picked up a book. This book blended each girls story line together a little more, so I liked that, but things sure did accelerate quickly in this one! I liked that Hanna finally told Mike what was going on & he stood by her side and offered to help (that's what Caleb did in the show). It's interesting that Melissa becomes so protective over Spencer (in the show, when she was "nice" or helpful, there was always a hidden motive) and gets involved in the investigation for her.
I absolutely hated that Emily's family is so horrid to her and clearly didn't know her at all if they thought for one second that she actually did what she was accused of! Emily's family on the show was totally different (just her & her parents), so other than the heart attach (opposite parent) her story did not sync with the show. We found that Noel didn't die in the last book, but Aria still waffled between trusting/believing him and suspecting he's working with Ali (similar to the show, but it was Ezra not Noel that was suspected).
We finally found out who A's helper is and they are finally caught, but in the meantime, no one (in the police force) believes that the girls saw and were threatened in person by Ali...so she's still out there. Upside is that there are only 2 more books, so we know something is going to come to a head shortly.

I am still in shock... Love everything about this book... The story lines are more about the four girls and not just one which I found wonderful! And... Everything I couldn't have Imagined happened in this book, it got me so into it!!! ... I don't want this series to end!! It's getting so damn good!
This actually wasn't bad. I think this was the first time in MANY PLL books that I was actually invested in the story. This book was a wild ride.
How many times are these girls going to be tormented by A? I guess a couple more! I was shocked to see that Helper A was not only a person i didn’t see coming, but 4…insane. I feel like unlike the show, here the girls are treated as actual liars by the public because they all “know” what’s going on. They are being tried in public, and people believe them to be guilty of murder(s). They were so close this time! I cant wait to see whats next for the liars.
