i thought i was going to get a spooky folk horror novella but instead i received a boring book about politics. i was also disappointed with the author's choice not to use quotation marks; i felt this made it difficult to tell who was speaking and what they were saying.

3.5 stars overall. This was a quick folk type thriller. It was a little dark. But not scary more atmospheric. But a good read nonetheless.
