Reading this truly makes me want to relisten to the entirety of the Balance arc because it helps me remember so many funny moments. The art is great, and I loved meeting Carey! My lovely dragonborn fave with sick kicks! Ooh and here's where we meet Kravitz. I'd forgotten he met everyone in another form.

This volume covers the story arc where I stopped listening to the podcast, not because I thought it was dropping in quality but because it was getting more complicated and less comedic. I’m not a fan of fiction podcasts in the first place because I have a hard time following them when I’m doing my normal podcast-listening things so I’m glad that this comic book adaptation exists so I can catch up to the story. This one is fun with a neat setting and some cool new characters and it definitely feels like it’s settling into its overarching plot in an interesting way. Excited to see what comes next.
