I continue to be super impressed with how these stories are getting translated to the page, and I love Carey Pietsch’s art. Crystal is a really dense (and underrated if such a thing is possible) arc and I think i felt the abridge-ment here more. Understandable, and I don’t mind some things being revised (like switching to a single panel recap of Carey and Killian fighting the tardigrades! Clever!) but we lost A LOT of story here in the effort to maintain the main plot lay out the overarching mystery a little more clearly. I also, a nitpick, didn’t love how legion ended up looking like it belonged in a scooby doo comic (but I do love the kravitz design. You win some, you lose some).
This story translates to a graphic novel so well. I can literally hear Griffin's voice for all of the npcs
