Never going to stop talking about how much I love Liho, and that Natasha 100% loves that cat too. Liho chose her owner and Nat doesnt have a say in the matter.

I really enjoyed having so many small cameos from other heros throughout, though I do find it petty that so many have an issue with Natasha being a killer. They know what she does and why she does it, why keep getting mad over it, she's a spy.

One of my favourite Black Widow comics. Full of excellent writing, action, mood, and surprise characters. Much of the story follows Natasha around the world and looks into her psyche, which I loved. A great story for fans of Black Widow!

Good art. Borrrrring writing.

Special guest appearances by Daredevil, Winter Soldier, Punisher, X-23, and ... Anderson Cooper? Who is apparently part of the Marvel Universe?

I love Black Widow and I love the spy genre when it's done well. This one is not and the series deserves a much more creative writer. It reminds me in some ways of the problems with so many Wolverine solo titles, in that focusing on a loner character can be a big challenge. Both Natasha and Logan are dark, interesting characters with lots of red in their ledgers, often seeking redemption. But when they're not part of a team, writers don't usually know what to do with them, and end up relying on repeating the same metaphors and cliche storylines ad nauseum.

What I appreciate in this series is how they were able to show the skills and wits of Natasha. She has a couple of visiting heroes in each issue that showed she had created a bond with quite a lot of people however she wanted to be alone. But they're heroes as well who can defend themselves. I'm beginning to appreciate the loyalty and care of Isaiah to Natasha. I'm kinda thinking if maybe it's him who she'll consider a partner in crime or something. Not that she needed one to survive but it would make her grounded and moral I guess. The evil group Chaos is not really making an impact here and with how it's a part in her quest to atone for her past. The drawing and coloring is really beautiful!

My first Black Widow comic. Not sure what I think of the character yet. I do know I don't care for Phil Noto's washout art style :-(
