I enjoyed this immensely but I got a third of the way through and realized I was only a third of the way through, started skipping entire chapters, and honestly... the book still worked. I think I'm too used to reading category romance, because I just didn't have the patience to read the whole thing in detail.

Very fun! My only qualm is that the author didn’t feed more into the unreliable narrator thing. It wasn’t clear until about halfway through the book that the “book” was a memoir/testimony. Additionally, I liked when Red broke the fourth wall, but she only did it twice (I think) so it felt a little jarring. Other than that I had a great time.

I fear I didn’t give this one enough concentration and that if I had, it would’ve been more like 4 stars. It lost me a bit in what felt like unnecessary length probably about 3/4 of the way in. The twists at the end were really good though!
