This memoir covers the constant transitions, the precariousness, of post-grad, trying-to-be-radical life in late-stage U.S. capitalism. It's frustrating to witness, and Huber makes a strong case for the small-scale and psychological benefits of universal health insurance without being too heavy-handed. But this was written and published just before the Affordable Care Act, and I'd be interested in what a similar narrative would look like now after the ACA.
