I loved the Scottish cast, but I’m.not a huge fan of books that center around adultery and make it seem okay. This book seemed more about that than the euthanasia. Not my favorite Jodi Picoulr book.

Read a couple of her books- I wasn't to thrilled with this book! Drags, boring, no suspense, ending was dull :( defiantly disappointed.

This was my first Picoult novel, which I picked up in an airport bookstore several years ago. It sounded interesting because I thought it was about the issue of assisted suicide. Unfortunately, this topic only comprised about 20% or less of the book. The main plot involved an adulterous relationship between two characters, Mia and Cam. I felt like the author was trying to make the reader sympathize and like them. I did not.

I little harder to get into at the beginning but I really enjoyed it in the end.

Disappointed by my own commitment to finish this book. Truly truly awful and a severe injustice to the sensitive nature of the book's advertised central conflict. Do not recommend to anyone.

I'm sad to say that this is probably my least (or second least) favorite Jodi Picoult book. I read about half the book before my library loan expired and I wasn't even too upset that I had to return the book. I was hoping that by the time I was able to check it out again I would enjoy it more, but sadly, that was not the case. I feel like I spent the entire book hating on Cam and not even wanting to read the Jamie story line. This book just did not hold my attention and I don't see myself wanting to read again or recommend to others.

Two stories of lopsided love, both heart wrenching. The story kept me engaged throughout and wanting more due to the strength of the writing. Characters were developed in a way that you could relate to, understand, emphathize with or hate. Overall, the storyline was predicable, however.

This was a typical Jodi Picoult book...
