I missed Zuko and Iroh. It's strange to me how we never get Zuko & Toph in the same stories. I guess since they are the most interesting, that's what's missing from each volume. The story is better than the Rift but still quite dull as I couldn't care less about Mai and Ty Lee. Not the finest volume, but alright.

This is my favorite graphic novel series so far. All of my favorite secondary characters were present in this part. We had Iroh, Ty Lee, Suki and Mai.

I liked the premise of this graphic novel series. I love Mai and Ty Lee so I was so happy to see them in a bigger tole.

MVP: My man Iroh!

Huge fan of getting to dive in to other characters’ lives.

I actually like Mai more with the new dude and I'm sort of shipping Zuko with Suki, tbh. I feel bad for Ursa returning to the palace/where her abuser abused her.

Parte 1 | Parte 2 | Parte 3

AVISO.

PART I

First read of 2021, following the tradition to start with something from Avatar’s Universe. Smoke & Shadows takes place after The Rift BUT connects directly with The Search.

S&S is more political than I imagine at first, but that’s not a weakness because it uses characters that may be forgotten to give you an interesting story. After the One Hundred War, it inevitable to change the Fire Nation in just a few months, no matter how hard Zuko works for it. The introduction of a secret society that wants to kick him out as Fire Lord opens the door to some AWESOME SCENES. And we are only in the first part!

Loved the movie. The art is bright and happy. The story seems to be setting up the rest of the story. It's good and interesting. I like that someone sees aura's. That's why I'm reading it.
