This book was fine. I struggled to care about the plot and the characters. The characters were decent, the plot was alright, and the writing style was okay.

Moderate: Misogyny and Sexual harassment
Minor: Toxic relationship and Stalking

I have to say, though, that it took me a while to get into this book. Jess is a bit of a snob in the beginning, and her disgust of fandom and cons quickly got on my nerves. Thankfully, Ashley Poston knows enough about being a pop culture fan to turn even the most skeptic of characters into a fangirl.
While I wasn’t sure I’d like it, in the end it nearly brought me to tears. Because that’s the power of fandom and I’ll never stop loving that part of it. And the fanboys and manbabies can keep complaining, but that’s because they’ll never find that small pocket of happiness we get from our favourite movies/shows/books/video games, etc.
My only complain is that there was one too many references, especially to a certain wizarding world. I get that it was released in 2019, but she could’ve toned it down a bit and the story would’ve been better for it.
Moderate: Sexual harassment, Misogyny, and Sexism
