Non spoiler review. This was definitely a more slower paced book than I expected but still kept my attention throughout. The characters are decently likable, but they do have their flaws. Not the plot twist I was expecting but it was good. Very emotional at the end and for a thriller I was not expecting to cry like I did by the end.

you will see multiple times within the book mentions of body horror and it is decently graphic. Two deaths caused by a sniper and being shot in the head with full force and it does get kind of graphic. There is slight mention of police brutality as in our main character red gets shot by an officer who thought she was holding a gun. The twist at the end of it being about the mafia and red being paid to lie about it all was a decent turn of events but was still very well written. Some gaslighting within the book sort of with Oliver trying to make it seem like red and Arthur, especially red, was crazy and lying about everything.

Non spoiler. The contents can get graphic at times with body horror I will say so be aware if that. Gaslighting within the book as well.

Wow, this book was quite the rollercoaster. Each character was compelling and different and had their own quirks and faults. I looooove the narration style so much. Highly recommend!

I had to keep reading which is the mark of talented storytelling. But definitely some major flaws and plot holes. The conclusion provided some additional critiques from me. But I ate it up so that’s impressive.

It was so well written, and I loved the  perspective and all of the characters personalities. It was so satisfying to see everything just fall into place. Love the plot concept, and would read it again.
