The synopsis sounded intriguing since it's all about books, book influencers, & a mystery. The "mystery" was not what I was expecting & I'm not sure if I just misunderstood the synopsis or what.

The character interactions were boring & cringy, & it felt like a good majority of the story was fluff.

The ending twist was SO. DUMB. It was beyond unbelievable & felt like it was trying too hard to make a societal (or political?) statement. I just can't get over how ridiculous the plot ended up being. And I still had questions at the end about what happened after....

The audiobook narrator is potentially my least favorite yet. The voices for the characters she did made them all sound like dumb teenagers. She also emphasized words in an odd way that didn't sound natural & the cadence felt off. It felt like she was reading the script for the first time & didn't understand how to voice things.
