Hands down best plat I've read.

Closest thing to make me cry in a while.

Expertly written.

Pointful, that not a word, social commentary.

its interesting that considering what we saw from him the we assume he was the criminal and not the victim.
what we actually saw was someone who appreciated life nature and coke
the polices reaction to "freinds" is "gang"  predjudice
the facts that we hear a womens voice through out is interesting
it's mostly men on men violence
this choice estabishes that it is black on black, and within that nonsecular.
a womens grief
a mother pain
also the silencing of male voices suggest the problem?
the sister's man is absent, so are her freinds
something to lonliness.
the cycle
the lines about uniform, the deviation from uniform becoming a uniform.
the cycle repeats with similarities between generations
listen to the silences

Beautifully written, though I feel like it would be better to watch it than read it however it still broke me and was such a powerful read.

Short but impactful. Covers such a hard topic in a great way. Unfortunately, the events that take place still happen in todays world.

I really liked the writing style. Being able to hear how the characters would talk if it was said out loud. Don’t normally find plays easy to read but this one was

Far more interested in seeing this than reading it. Seeing it would probably be far more powerful, but reading it felt stagnant beyond what it does thematically. I imagine my heart would be on the floor flopping around like a wet fish hearing this aloud. Unfortunately, my heart stayed put whilst reading.
