I very much liked this book. The author grabbed me right away and the characters held me throughout. This is, in my opinion, a better book than Waiting in the Wings, which I also enjoyed, and I can't wait to see what she does with the next one.

A wonderful world to visit. The audio version is very well done. I love the simple sweet romance from this book. It made me feel happy on days I thought that was impossible. I love that Brayden's charicters achieve personal and career goals. These women are well rounded people with depth. I love it!

Melissa Brayden is always such good value for a warm and fuzzy queer romance story with well developed characters and solid conflicts. Another winner!

3.5 stars for this Melissa Braden book that I can’t believe I’ve never read before. I believe this was her second book and with it she’s created two likable main characters, a sweet eight-year-old, and a snuggly dog. The pacing meanders easily as Emory and Sarah become more navigate their fledgling relationship. Complications arise when family obligations and differing lifestyles come into play. Grace’s heart issue that swirled around them causing stress and uncertainty. Overall this is sweet, easy read without a lot of deep fanfare.

Not groundbreaking by any means, but a mostly enjoyable, fun read.
