I'm obsessed with the second book in the "Castles in their bones" series.. It was so intense, so much so that I quite literally thought my heart would like fly out of my chest. I really enjoyed this book and honestly it was just as, if not better, then the first book! The world this book is set in is amazing, Laura Sebastian's writing does't fail to empress, the characters have developed so much.
This series is honestly a must read I have to say! The plot is amazing. The writing is gorgeous. Everything is!

While I didn't enjoy this book quite as much as the first book, I still really liked it. It's full of political intrigue and character growth. And while there is a smidge of romance, that's definitely not the main focus of the story. There were a lot of twists and turns that managed to take me by surprise, and I can't wait to see what's going to happen in the next book!

POLITICAL INTRIGUE GALORE. I will never understand why more people aren’t talking about this series. And this second book?! It had so much character growth, like all of the main characters truly start finding theirselves and growing into who they’re meant to be and I just adored it. There’s some tender moments and some sitting on the edge of my seat moments and I can’t believe we have to wait until next year for the third one
