Oh my god was this book boring, I should have listened to my cousin when she said not to buy this book at Chapter's.

Vomit read.

I genuinely only finished because I enjoyed the authors vocabulary.

No story, no plot, two characters that barely develop as individuals despite decades happening over the course of the book.

Think Garden State but, is Natalie Portman a vampire.

2½ stars.
Sorry to say that it dragged on at times, without any hint to as to where it might be going. I like surprises as much as the next guy, but I also like to play/guess along.
The extra ½ star is because it started to pick up at about 3/4 through.

It breaks my heart to say that I was very underwhelmed and bored with this book.
