I love books where the author isn’t necessarily saying, “This happened because of that: true fact.” Instead, they explore two separate themes, place them side by side, and ask, “Don’t you think this is interesting? Are you seeing it too?”

I wanted to like this book; however, it was extremely repetitive and way too graphic for my taste. I also wish the author had left out a good portion of the book about her childhood.

It was an odd mix of autobiography, history, and true crime. I think it could have been at least 100 pages shorter; it was just trying to be too many different books at once.

Though I did appreciate the premise of how the age of serial killers was caused by toxic pollution, and how we may have another one if such pollution is allowed to come back.

   Overall, just meh.

The narrator was okay, but nothing special.
