Kind of like The Phantom of the Opera but set in the wild twists and turns that can only be Ank-Morpork under the influence of the witches Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg.

I enjoyed this send-up of opera more than some of the other witches stories. Some excellent Greebo moments too.

Not one of the strongest additions to the witches storyline in the Doscwprld series, the word opera gets mentioned so often you want to puke in the end.

However, it is still a great read, a real breeze and any time you get to spend with Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg is a good time.

So much fun! Its not quite as traditionally magical as the other books, but it still might be my favorite yet! The interactions between Nanny and Granny were particularly great.
