Fantastic book. I love theatre, musicals and opera, especially The Phantom of the Opera, so the fact this is parodying west end theatre is just absolutely fantastic. Great adventure.
Just as awesome as Hogfather. I think Discworld for Christmas is going to be a new tradition. Also, props to Terry Pratchett for writing a series that's so expansive yet so accessible.

Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg, witches extraordinaire travel from Lancre to Ankh-Morpork, ostensibly to recover author royalties from Nanny's newly published cookery book that has become wildly popular - The Joy of Snacks - but find themselves in the middle of a murder mystery at the Opera House.
The Discworld books are cool, fun books that poke fun at a lot of serious subjects and this one was no different. This book was fun but also talked a lot about growing up and the masks we show the world. I won't recap the book but all of the Disc's citizens are here: the watch, Death and the witches. I liked this one a lot but Agnes was a little flat. Granny makes a fine showing here and she sees a lot of character growth.
