I'm no political nor historical expert so I learned a lot from this book about the way Jews have been treated all over the world for a long time before WWII. I had no idea that anti-Semitic feelings ran so far back and so deep.
The work itself is fairly simple, Dave Sim has taken harrowing photos from concentration camps then scanned and traced them in stark black pencil. Placed alongside are quotes from and some portraits of people who spoke against Jews.
If I hadn't learned so much from it then I would probably have only rated it around 3/5, but the extra star is for it opening my eyes to something I hadn't previously known.
