a child reading this who is unfamiliar with an unreliable narrator could easily think this book was science fiction, and then be hit very hard at the end. I would be cautious giving it to a child who has had to deal closely with grief, especially traumatic grief.

This book WRECKED ME in the best way possible. I spent a lot of time wondering how I would react if I knew the world was ending in four days. Would I also want to make a time capsule? How would I react? Kemi's reactions are honest and so clear. Just love.

Wasn't expecting the twist. Couldn't put it down once I got to the last quarter. Cried.

I found it a bit slow up until a sharp plot twist. After that it ended suddenly, but I loved the "world ending" metaphor used to describe Kemi's pain.
