This was cute and comfy. I think I was more enamored of the world building than the actual romance.

Nice low drama, fake dating trope with Orcs and pixie mites and a siren.

Also I’m a bit in love with the cover.

Not sure if I would have gotten over the teasing and harassment of high school quite as easily as the FMC but it had decent relationship progression. The reason for the bullying was a glossed over pretty quickly, maybe some additional flashback scenes would have set it up a little more.

The pet pig and ex girlfriends were a nice touch.

I loved this book! It’s well written with complex characters and a beautifully woven plot. The FMC is strong and charming, the MMC is strong and sensitive. I couldn’t resist the urge to kick my feet and giggle at their banter. The spice was just right and placed perfectly! Much praise for Cora Crane!
