Im not a huge fan of the third act breakup. I feel like we can do away with those. This could have been avoided so easily, which I know is the point but it’s overdone and that was really the only part of this I didn’t enjoy

I wasn’t really looking for overtones of interracial relationships, and cultural trauma??  in my paranormal cozy romance book.

The world building in this is stunningly well done. Truly captivating mix of high and low fantasy elements. The romance is sweet and touching, if a bit predictable.

Super fast and cute. I loved the cozy feel of the whole book., and while it may not be my usual genre of cozy romances, I did ADORE this book.

The MFC is super fun, smart and sassy with a heart of gold. The MMC is super protective, handsome and grumpy. Which when you combine these two things, they make up one of my fav tropes!

I think the storyline and plot was done well with very low stakes, fast paced, fun characters.
