This was a book I read. This review may be harsh so let me sandwich with positive things: I did not DNF this and was able to read it quickly!! I liked Marco!
The negative: It made no sense, especially in the first twelve hours. Conversation jumping was bad, no flow. The author also treated addiction poorly, then would backtrack saying "I know it wasn't something Tommy(?) could help but.." Let me emphasize, TOO MUCH JUMPING AROUND. There is also a moment toward the end that, again, made no sense. No explanation, nothing. It was meant to move the plot along but I felt so confused during those chapters. Also, the grammar/editing got sloppy toward the end.
Other positive thing: I enjoyed the style of the epilogue.

I’ll be totally honest that I wasn’t sure if this book was going to be for me. While I enjoyed the beginning about Eric and Bianca’s meet cute, I wasn’t sure what could keep me interested for the other 80% of the book.

Boy, was I wrong. I never saw the twist at the end of their 12 hours coming, and I really think that conflict added a lot more depth to Bianca’s character.

I ended up not being able to put this one down once it got going. I really enjoyed the build to them meeting each other again, and didn’t find myself wondering when it was going to happen because Bianca’s story was interesting on it’s own.

Thank you to NetGalley and She Writes Press/SparkPoint Studios for the ARC of this!
