The beginning was interesting, and I liked Bianca and Eric/Hyun Min’s interactions. I did not expect Part 1 to end like that, which made me read more.

Then in Part 2, the story got more morose, and we get more into Bianca’s sad-sack life. She’s not an easy character to like as a result of her being down on herself a lot. While yeah, some of it’s understandable, at times it got repetitive.

And yet the pacing was kinda weird. I felt some parts of the book dragged, yet with others I thought the conclusions were rushed.

In Part 3, when Bianca and Eric meet again, sadly, they’re the type of couple who becomes less interesting when they  get together. Not to mention the drama surrounding them in the later chapters was a bit confusing.

Lastly, not too keen on the author’s writing. Some of the dialogue felt unnatural, and she used way too many adverbs. Other times, the wording was a bit clunky, and several times I came across reactions like, “I smile at this,” or “I laugh at this.” Got a bit repetitive.

So, interesting premise, but pacing could have been better, and writing style was not for me.
