One of the best books I've ever read! I'm happy I own it, so I can share it!

I thought the idea of the book to merge old and new technology was really nice but I didn't like the writing very much. It wasn't subtle enough, most of the time it was pretty boring, just putting one describing sentence after another. The characters seemed very one dimensional to me and the praising of google way too annoying.
I liked the idea of putting in a meta-level with the book inside the book but I thought it wasn't done very well.
It is an easy read though and interesting enough to finish it.

What a fantastic book, especially for those of us in the literary world (bookstores, libraries, and even museums got included in here). This book has historical artifacts, glimpses into the world of Google, books, puzzles, secret passageways, intriguing characters, wizards and warriors. :) What more could you want?

I supremely enjoyed the audio book version, with the narrator drawing me into the story by emphasizing parts that needed to be emphasized, giving each character his or her own voice, whispering during quiet parts, and increasing the speed of his reading and pitch of his voice during exciting or suspenseful parts. I highly recommend listening to it if you can!
