I thought it was great! so inspirational and you really get to look at the holocaust ina different perspective, usually you only read it as when people are in it so it was interesting to see it though the eyes of someone hiding.

It's a fascinating read and glimpse into the life of a young Jewish girl during the Holocaust. Repetitive, and often dull...but I'd hate for someone to read my adolescent diary. At times I was amazed at Frank's insight and outlook...and at times you're reminded that she was just a girl putting down her thoughts. This is something I should have read decades ago and I'm glad I finally did. Many times while reading this I felt sad that the world never got the chance to know a grown-up Anne Frank. She would have been a tremendous force to be reckoned with.

Thoroughly tragic to watch a 14-15 year old process life in hiding in Nazi occupied Holland. I didn't read this in High School, somehow. It was especially haunting to read how some people were alive into the 80s. It's easy to forget how recent in our history this was and how easy it would be for hate and power greedy people to take us back there.

It doesn't feel appropriate to rate this. God, she's so small in that picture.

I’m not rating this book for obvious reasons, but I really enjoyed Anne’s writing style and how she is unapologetically herself in her diary entries. My favorite moments were when she was describing the little moments that made her day when she was living in an awful situation. I’m glad I finally read this.
