This was a really difficult book to listen to. It jumped around a lot and got more confusing during the action scenes. A lot of stuff just didn't make sense, and it didn't flow smoothly. Harry Potter wannabe book, not nearly as good.

Great introduction. Wish I had this book when I was a kid.

i love Wilson's non-fiction and love the way the same themes and ideas that make it great are artfully woven into his fiction. Enjoyed this and am looking forward to the next one.

I read this out loud to my students after lunch. It was a good book, but I just wish it didn't drag on in some places. Can't wait to read book two!

What an interesting take on Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island! I really enjoyed the banter between Cyrus and Antigone.

Well, this was one of the hardest books to start that I've ever read! It was well-written, but I had a really hard time getting into the plot. Things jumped around a lot early on and it took until about 75 pages in for me to feel like I was really engaged. I'm so glad I stuck it out, because I read the rest of the book in a day and a half. And I'm looking forward to book 2 in the series.
