I loved the characters in this book! Their development and interactions were definitely a highlight, and I love St. John’s writing style. The backdrop of a film set in the Caribbean contrasts a MESSY crossing of paths mystery. I do wish the pacing of the book was more consistent, since it didn’t feel like anything significant happened until around 40-50% of the way through. I really enjoyed this read, and the ending was a wild ride! If you liked Evelyn Hugo, the vibes are similar but more intense.

A tense mystery in the Caribbean - there were a few twists and turns that kept me thoroughly hooked but it is a slow read. The majority of the action happens in Felicity’s flashbacks, and the finale happens rather quickly after so many pages of slow meandering.

If you're into Hollywood drama, this one is perfect for you. The drama is dialed up to a 10 and I could see it being a good movie. This is also a good beach read because it takes place on an island.

I'm honestly not sure why this one fell flat for me. I usually love multiple-POV but it felt disjointed which made it hard for me to really get invested in any of the characters. It took me a long time to finish because it didn't suck me in. I predicted many of the twists although there were some surprises. It wasn't bad, just 'fine' for me.

Characters are engaging and interesting. Plot is a little predictable but still very intriguing.
