I really enjoyed this book. While as some of the other reviews state there’s some repetition, it wasn’t so much that it was impactful to me. I thought the story was intriguing, suspenseful, and kept me interested the whole time. I did not see the ending coming and I was incorrect on who the killer was!

Listened to the audiobook.
I liked the book a lot. I thought it was engaging and well thought out. I did not expect the twist at the end or who the murderer was so that was cool. I don’t listen to thrillers or murder mysteries very often so I don’t have much to compare to. But I’d say it’s worth a listen :)

Whoa, talk about mixed reviews! "The Girl Who Survived" by Lisa Jackson might have some haters, but let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Sure, the writing style might not be everyone's cup of tea, and yeah, there were moments when I felt like I was trudging through quicksand instead of turning pages. But hey, beneath the surface, there's a solid story just waiting to be uncovered.

And those twists? Oh, they hit hard! Jackson knows how to keep you guessing, and the intricate details of the crime? Top-notch. It's just a shame it took a bit too long to get to the juicy bits.

So, if you're willing to overlook a few pacing issues for the sake of a gripping plot, give "The Girl Who Survived" a shot. Trust me, it's not as bad as the naysayers would have you believe.
