nora wrote a book. elysium is unwelcoming and chaotic and vicious but it's written in nora's way, how she does it best. characters with so much soul in them i know she loves them dearly.

I think we were all expecting something close to AFTG but we are totally wrong in doing so.
This was still a very interesting fantasy world and plot. However, I’m a little disappointed in the lack of relationship development in this book. AFTG was a three book series with many characters to establish relationships with, but we did not get any sort in this book with fewer characters and a single book (understandably—but still unfortunately—so given the dynamic of things). And I guess the final battle was pretty anticlimactic to me. I expected a full on battle between everyone since we are told that all these species are allied together and such, but unfortunately no.

Yes I just read this in one sitting. Yes I love Nora. Yes it was weird that it was a Nora book that wasn’t all for the game.
