love this book, there arent many books with a nonbinary main character, let alone a nonbinary love story. this book is definitley very entertaining and i reccomend it to anyone looking for a good lgbtq+ coming of age story. can get a bit cheesy/cliche but the story is still good.

This novel follows Ben, a nonbinary teen who comes out to their parents, is subsequently kicked out, and ends up living with their older sister and starting at a new school halfway through senior year. They are also experiencing anxiety and depression, and struggling with the urges both to fit in and to come out. I felt so tenderly toward Ben, and so grateful for the hopeful arc of their story. I wish them all the best.

Pinky Promise ❤️‍🩹

This is such an important book for the LGBTQ+ Youth. It's heartbreaking but so hopeful at the same time. It was really well written and the main character were so relatable. 
Note that few passages were really hard to read but reflect a (sad) reality.

this book is absolutely beautiful. i’m not nonbinary, so idk if this is good representation or not, but i’m obsessed w this book. i’m pretty sure i felt every emotion ben felt stronger than they did themself. that’s how beautifully this book was written. i would recommend this to everyone in the world
