I don’t think this one holds up as well as the other three I find it a little silly to have Mr. Mercer be a suspect.

WOW!
This book was amazing! It was soooooo much better than the third book. In this book, the only reason I knew what was going to happen was because I might have (alegidly) looked forewards. Major whoops!
The only thing I didn't like about this book was having Laurel a suspect for about the first hundred pages. But, if the 3rd book hadn't droned on and on and on about her being Sutton's killer, (did it do that? I can't remember. But, it did say it for a little bit) I wouldn't have not liked it. So, therefore, I still thourouly enjoyed the book and gave it five out of five stars.

In The Lying Game readers met Emma as she learnt that she not only had a twin sister, that she never knew she had, but her twin sister, Sutton, has been killed. As Emma steps into Sutton's life she discovers everything is not perfect, and she starts suspecting everyone as a possible murder suspect.
I discovered the Pretty Little Liars books by Sara Shepard a few years ago and quickly got addicted. Last year I started reading The Lying Game books and I have discovered that I love this series just as much as the Pretty Little Liars books. I like the family secrets and intrigue, as Emma tries to discover who killed her sister.
In Hide and Seek, Emma has her sights set on her sister, Laurel, as a possible murder suspect. As she investigates Laurel we learn a lot more about Sutton's past, and it's definitely not good!!
Hide and Seek left me on the edge of my seat, trying to discover who killed Sutton. I'm still no closer to discovering the truth about Sutton's killer, but I did enjoy the "big reveal" towards the end! I can't wait to pick up Cross My Heart, Hope to Die, the fifth book in the series.
