I was drawn to this book by the supernatural elements that were hinted at in the description. While that was a part of this story it was more about Cassie and her development as a character. I enjoyed seeing her transition from her life in the city to her new life in her hometown as well as the unexpected help she had along the way. I found the pacing to be slow and deliberate, which is what this story needed. The multiple POV really kept things interesting!
