I don't know how it works, but for some reason Ann Denton can sell me every kind of plot with every kind of character and every kind of kink. It doesn't matter if I like the kink. It doesn't matter if the characters are characters I like to read about. It doesn't matter if there is more sex than story. I want it, I read it, I enjoy it. So, despite the daddy kink not being my thing I enjoyed the first book in the series and I was glad I also got an arc for this second book!

Once more I got addicted to the story from the moment I started reading. For some reason the author manages to grab my attention and to never let go. I wanted to get to know these characters, I wanted to get to know their daily lives, I wanted to see how they would find each other and connect, I wanted to see how they would fit into each other's lives. I wanted more and more and more. Even when the story was finished I still would have loved to read on and on.

The hero in this story is not the kind of guy I usually like. It's quite clear he's got blood on his hands and although I don't doubt that in his eyes, or the eyes of his family, he only served justice, I'm not the kind of girl liking characters to play jury, judge and executor. And yet, in this case it was the best possible match for our heroine and I can't even put into words how incredibly satisfying the finale was and how I was enjoying this justice being served.

I mostly enjoyed it though because it was clear that to get to the finale our heroine had a lot of growing to do. We didn't read what happened to her in much detail, luckily, but we did see how her mom treated her, how she lived her life, how she was afraid to be herself. It's not easy to break free of such a situation and it's even less easy when you're traumatized. But she grew and she dared to stick up for herself because she knew that her hero would still love her and do everything for her.

I might not agree with all methods used, I do agree that this is love. True, passionate, burning love.

Wow!! A possessive/obsessive alphahole, who's also the older brother's best friend, has a dark/double life, and it only sweet for his girl! Yes please!! I LOVED Angelo!!! But even more, I loved how he loves Rose. He wants to be whatever she needs. He wants her to be happy and to be her true self. It takes his love for her to realize what she really wants and deserves. This is a slow burn, but once Angelo and Rose are together it's all

I am unreservedly a fan of this author. I am pretty sure I've read all her books and I love that there is a story for every mood! Bedding Rose is another unique tale in this series of connected stand alones. I really enjoyed the brothers best friend premise and was extremely happy about the revenge plot that comes in later in the story. Rose is sweet, a good daughter, does what she is told but not with Angelo! With him, she is fiesty, defiant and the flames of their attraction burns everything in its path. Such a great book!

Bedding Rose is the second book in the Stalked & Plucked series. While it's not necessary to read the first book, I highly recommend doing so. They are all different couples, but side characters that reappear in each book....if that makes sense.

We met Rose in Chaining Daisy. She was Daisy's friend. Ever since she found out Daisy's secret, Rose has been on a downward spiral. Bad things have happened and many dark secrets consumes her. Angelo is her brother's best friend and Rose has been in love with him forever. He is willing to do anything to protect what’s his.

There's something about Ann Denton's writing that just draws you in. She DEFINITELY captured the type of hero...or anti-hero, that I absolutely LOOOOVE! Although this does end in a HFN, I am anticipating Lily's story!!

Loved this!

This book was awesome. Dark, possessive, a little funny and totally swoony. Oh and H-O-T!!! Angelo was just *sigh* dreamy. Honestly it was just hard to put down.

While it’s not necessary to read the first book in the series, I would recommend it so that there is some background for the side characters. As well, please read the trigger warnings.

This is not your typical romance but it had me captivated from the beginning. I enjoy Ann Denton’s storytelling and this book was no different. There are ups and downs, tension, passion and haunting moments. I liked this book much better than the first because I feel like I really got to know the characters and their stories.

We already know who will star in the next book and I cannot wait for their story.
