Now this was dark romance. I’ve never read anything like this before. I was in shock half the story. However, there were some shortcomings because it didn’t convince me of everything it was selling.
And low and behold seed comes up again!!!! I thought that was only a poc thing but the word obviously crosses cultural boundaries!
Overall, it wasn’t a bad read.
Oh my god. I wasn’t expecting this at all. I haven’t read anything by this author before and the hotness, the spice, everything. Loved how the bad guy stayed bad and didn’t get soft even for a second and instead was her the one who grew stronger, meaner and brutal. It was fantastic. I would’ve wanted more story but I knew this was a short one and I enjoyed as it was. Can say for sure this won’t be my last book by this author.

Picked up this book at Wanderlust. I asked BL what her darkest book was and she said this one. It’s dark - blood, sex, murder and games. It’s really good though- a fast read. Love it. 4 1/2 stars.
