Robinson packed a lot of story in this 4"x6" forty-three page novella! I just learned that this story was the basis of a movie I have not seen, so will rectify that soon, I hope.

I read this the morning of a procedure at the hospital, and other folks in the waiting room did glance my way when I would giggle aloud. The protagonist is a writer, and his extensive research into serial killers has caused him to develop major paranoia about most everything and everyone.

In preparation for a meeting with an important person, he has to go to the launderette when his home methods of cleaning his clothing run amok.

I highly recommend this to everyone, as it takes perhaps 20 minutes to read if you savor all of it, and is, in my opinion, a well-crafted piece of work!

Absolutely ludicrous and extremely enjoyable! This was such a silly little treat and I loved it. Perfect for the train as it was such a small format.

Very amusing novella, half-satire about horror and suspense books and movies, half-parody about the character of the weird writer/ artist being unable to function in the real world. Good idea well executed without dragging it on too much - a sweet little treat.

Really enjoyable (somewhat similar to [a:Louis de Bernieres]' [books:Labels]) and a country mile better than the peculiar memoirs book.
