It's actually a really good mafia romance book. The Rya and Crue are basically the same person but on opposite ends of each other. The world the authors created and the supporting characters just felt so natural. Normally I hate the best friend character cause they're written so poorly, Angel, Dominic, and even Dawson were developed characters, voices of reason, and human when it came to Rya and Crue's constant back and forth. The slight twist at the end, chef's kiss. 
If you're looking for something quick to read, highly suggest this.

This was a fast-paced, mafia romance featuring an enemies to lovers, he falls first trope. 

It was dark, but their banter was entertaining.

Character development was rather shallow. There were also inconsistencies between earlier stated personality traits and then reactions to scenarios.

Its stated that she is not affectionate and doesnt like touch -and wont hesitate to defend herself - and yet when he ties her up, there is zero resistance or hesitance.
