This is the review of the whole manga series:
Overall, a pretty interesting ride. I do love the artist since the Blue Ride series. She can make you feel butterflies by reading her stories and Strobe Edge didn't disappoint on that aspect. Sure, there were times where the side stories took over and the main plot just has some pages in the volume. Or, when the story got a bit tiring. But things picked up soon, with the thrill of a confession still there and the interest high till the very end. In addition, the characters were nice and the MC cute and adorable. The love triangle, more over, was really good and you can't help but feel sorry for the remaining one. So, 3 out of 5.

With this volume, the story of Strobe Edge comes to a close. What this story has been since the beginning is the relationship between Ninako and Ren, the evolution of it and the possibilities between them. And for many readers, it's been an enjoyable but slightly frustrating ride, watching them grow closer only to fall back and letting the cycle repeat several times.

But the series finale puts to rest the indecision. You will walk away from this volume knowing their fate, no questions about it.

Llore como condenada... Yo quería a Ando y eso me destrozó. TENIA ESPERANZAS, NO SE PORQUÉ! Esperaba una nueva experiencia a lo Peach Girl :(

This was a fantastic ending to a fantastic series. I absolutely love it.

At first, the confession doesn’t quite go where I wanted it to, didn’t stay quite as intense as I wanted it to. But then Ninako has a realization, and she goes after Ren. And then there’s a big, crying, messy confession, and it’s just kind of perfect. It’s very Ninako. And Ren gets it, and he loves her. And I love them. And just… Yes.

I’m not going to spoil too much, but it was just great. I love it. (This is going to be like a mantra in this review, I can already tell.)

Then we got to see the two on an actual date, and see how actually perfect they really are together. I honestly just love how similar they are. They feel and think alike, even if they show it in different ways. And when they finally talk about it, after they’ve misunderstood, I like how easily, how quickly, their entire thought-process changes. The realization they have of “oh, that’s what they were thinking”, and their entire thought on what happened changes.

There was also a short story featuring Manabu, who I have previously stated was a favorite of mine. He’s just such an adorable, fun, sweetheart. And this story really proves that. I loved getting inside his head. For some reason, I didn’t think this was going to be a Happily Ever After for him, but I was still a little upset at the ending. There are obviously good things in store for him, but I think I just wanted to see it happen. I wanted to see him truly happy.

This was a perfect ending to the series, and I completely love it. This series is definitely a favorite of mine, I would give it five stars overall, and it’s one that I could happily reread. I really hope that VIZ picks up another series by Sakisaka in the future, because I really want to read more of her stuff.

Read my first manga series!! So glad I unknowingly picked one that was only 10 volumes. Quick, but fun and super girly read. It made me feel like an 8th grader all over again...

Basically me while reading:

Ninako: *tries to confess feelings*
Me: hoe don't do it...
Ninako: *still confesses*
Me: oh my god

this was such a heartfelt and endearing read. it was undeniably romantic in its subtle moments between the main couple and between the other characters too! this series elicited genuine laughs and reactions to certain twists that i must praise io sakisaka for being able to do so seamlessly to me! i love her work. i love how this series turned out. a very worthwhile read. i do not regret spending my day off binge reading all ten volumes.
